Committed to engaging in community-led activities, Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) took part in sponsoring the 7th Oman Desert Marathon, the country’s leading desert racing and adventure event. As part of its sponsorship, the company’s Lubricants department provided maintenance services including oil changes for the race’s 15 escorting cars. The incredible six-day race saw more than 150 runners take on Oman’s beautiful but challenging landscape, traversing a total of 165 km between the oasis of Bidiyah and the shore of the Arabian Sea. It is the latest in the fuel marketing company’s ongoing marketing strategy to sustainably transform the fuel industry into an integrated customer-centric service hub.
