Seeking to help create safer roads for motorists throughout the Sultanate, Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) served as the silver sponsor of the Oman Traffic Safety Exhibition as part of its continued efforts to combat distracted driving. The event was held at the Oman International Exhibition and included the participation of numerous civil service organizations, governmental agencies, and private sector companies. Throughout the event, which was organized by Omanexpo in association with the ROP, exhibitors highlighted the importance of road safety, shared best practices with attendees and shed a light on the role each individual plays in accident prevention.

omanoil’s Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) team participated by handing out brochures and sharing safety tips with attendees. Exhibitors also displayed the latest traffic management, intelligent transport, automotive security, and rescue equipment.

Mohammed Al Mujaini – Senior manager HSSE & Quality Assurance, said, “Our care for the communities we serve goes far beyond the filling station and extends to every trip our valued customers make on the road. For that reason, it has been integral that we do our utmost to help improve safety for motorists no matter where they are in the Sultanate. We believe that prevention is better than cure and our support for this event is part of our long-standing commitment to reach out to the general public and raise awareness on responsible driving.”
