In line with its retail network expansion plans, Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) has opened a new filling station in Al Mawaleh, in the Governorate of Muscat. Underpinned by an unwavering dedication to better serve this nation, the new Al Mawaleh Highway Filling Station is set to meet growing demand in the area as the company’s development strategy continue on track. The latest additions to omanoil’s rising footprint represent the 167th filling station and 95th ahlain store across the Sultanate.

“The expansion of our service network will bring us closer to our customers and help us achieve our goal of providing them with total convenience and comfort,” said Hussain bin Jama Al Ishaqi, omanoil General Manager of Retail. “Statistics show that the number of cars in the Sultanate is increasing by 7.5 per cent per annum. omanoil’s expansion plans were designed to reach the country's rising population and our strategically located sites will meet the demands of Oman’s rapid growth and subsequent energy consumption in addition to delivering a holistic, customer-centric experience.”

omanoil not only offers a filling station but an altogether convenience-shopping experience, complemented with forecourts comprised of convenience stores, car wash facilities, ATMs and quick service restaurants. Since being established in 2003, omanoil’s growth has generated valuable employment opportunities for young Omanis and contributed heavily to the development of the Sultanate’s national workforce.

The new filling station further reaffirms the company’s commitment to Health, Safety, Security and the Environment (HSSE), developing a system based on risk management to provide a safe and healthy environment in all areas of operations. Additionally, omanoil staff at the new service station underwent extensive training in safety techniques as part of the company’s efforts to better protect customers and align itself with the Royal Oman Police (ROP)’s latest regulations.
