OMANOIL Launches BASMACARD Redemption Scheme To Reward Customers With Shopping Privileges

Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) has launched a redemption scheme for its premium multi-faceted loyalty card, Basma. In collaboration with Bank Muscat and Lulu Hypermarkets, the scheme encourages cardholders to take full advantage of the benefits by redeeming accumulated points. Basma cardholders can redeem points at any of Lulu’s 12 Hypermarkets across the Sultanate until the 31st of December 2014.

Basma is the Sultanate’s first chip-based multi-partner rewards program that uses the latest smart-chip technology for cardholders to instantly redeem points and make full or partial payments for any purchases from omanoil outlets. The card can also be utilized as a pre-paid fuel card allowing customers to budget fuel expenditure whilst saving basmaPoints. In addition, the card features a secure Personal Identification Number to prevent unauthorized use in case it is lost or stolen and can be applied for at any of omanoil’s 154 filling stations.
