Fuel Up and Win, Shop and Win retail promotion - 9th Dec 09

With more than a million coupons collected from across the network in its first month alone, Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil), recently awarded a 2009 automatic Nissan Tiida to the first place winner of the Fuel Up and Win, Shop and Win mega promotion.

Prizes were awarded to winners following the promotion’s first draw at a special prize giveaway ceremony at omanoil’s Qurum filling station.

To mark the event, Aminurddin A .Jalil, Senior General Manager of Sales and Marketing at omanoil said, “Exquisite services and continued added value are the key drivers of all our successful retail offerings. The promotion’s comprehensive nature which includes both filling stations, Ahlain and convenience stores, underscores our commitment to total convenience, benefits and incentives.”

The record breaking number of coupons collected to date attests to the promotion’s great success throughout the country through organized logistics and implementation methods that are designed to optimize the promotion’s efficiency. The nationwide activity has witnessed unprecedented turnout and popular interest making it a fun promotion with prizes that appeal to a large range of consumers, from modern vehicles ,cutting-edge electronics and basmaCards.

With three draws remaining, customers can participate by either filling up super fuel worth a minimum of three Riyals or spending two Riyals at omanoil’s trusted filling stations, Ahlain and convenience stores, where coupons can be filled with their personal contact details and dropped into the designated draw boxes.

The first place prize, the Nissan Tiida, was awarded to Jamsheer V, and runner prizes included two Samsung LCD plasma TV’s which were awarded to Saeed Al Khathiri and Saeed Al Farsi. Also, two Samsung digital camcorders were awarded to Salim Al Kahali and Mohamad Hilal. In addition to ten basmaCards worth twenty riyals each for the following winners; Khalifa Al Baloushi, Darwish bin Mohamad, Bader bin Khusaib, Munther Al Naemi, Mahmoud Al Nadabi, Firas Roshdi,Khamis Al Miqbali, Ali Al Wahabi, Abdul Alaziz Al Zadjali and Saif Al Zidi.
