Green procedures enable the company to reduce its carbon-footprint, while HSSE training courses educate employees on the importance of environmental sustainability. omanoil’s 174 filling stations are also equipped with state-of-the-art leak detection systems to ensure effective and timely response to problems, while its aluminum road-transport tankers increase efficiency and reduce fuel intake. In addition, energy is conserved at forecourts with LED lights that cut power consumption by over 40%. The company has also installed an air monitoring system at the Mina Al Fahal refinery to measure and control emission levels.
