OMANOIL CELEBRATES QARANQASHO WITH MORE THAN 80 CHILDREN IN AL NAHDA AND KHOULA HOSPITALS

Sharing special moments with patients this Ramadan, a team of female employees from the Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) celebrated Qaranqasho with more than 80 sick children and their families at the Al Nahda Hospital and the Khoula Hospital in Muscat. True to tradition, the young patients enjoyed the surprises that came with gifts to marked the middle of the Holy Month.

Amal Al Ghammari, omanoil’s Communication Promotion Support Executive said, “Qaranqasho is a celebration that brings families and communities together during the most blessed time of the year. The realization that many sick children would not have had the opportunity to partake in this special occasion inspired us to share this beautiful time with as many patients as possible. We understand how difficult it can be to be away from your family and friends which is why we were more than happy to do our utmost and bring smiles to the faces of as many little ones as possible.”

Dedicating its resources to be an agent of change for the socio-economic development of the country, omanoil has pioneered various social initiatives throughout the Sultanate over the years, always coming together with communities to make a difference. True to its promise to care beyond the pump, this year, omanoil launched an extensive Ramadan campaign called At’a. Under the theme ‘Together We Give More’, omanoil is donating 10% of all its sales from select ahlain convenience stores in Muscat, Al Batinah, Al Sharqiyah, Ad Dakhiliyah and Dhofar to charity. In addition, the initiative also features a nationwide media campaign and social media competitions all aimed to instill a culture of giving through lending a helping hand and acts of kindness.
