omanoil’s be safe initiative creates public and corporate interest during traffic safety expo

The first-of-its kind road safety awareness magazine in the Sultanate entitled ‘BeSafe’ pioneered by Oman Oil Marketing Company (Omanoil) witnessed tremendous public and corporate interest during its recent debut at the Traffic Safety Expo at Oman International Exhibition Centre. Throughout the three day event, omanoil demonstrated the importance of the responsible transfer of safety knowledge from the Oil and Gas sector to the public while showcasing the concept, objectives and mechanics of their new editorial medium to the public and fellow exhibitors. The magazine which is expected to launch soon, targets all road end-users from drivers to pedestrians, in cooperation with 20 leading corporations and NGO’s under the guidance of ROP.

Nabeel Al Ruwaidhi, General Manager of Corporate Affairs, Business Development and Planning at omanoil stated, "During the Expo, several leading private corporations expressed genuine interest in partnering with us to support BeSafe Magazine, which aims at creating a safe driving culture and improving overall awareness on a national level. The innovative nature of the magazine also drew notable enthusiasm from the public who understand the need for change and aspire to create safe roads for today and future generations."
