Oman association for the disabled holds 15 year anniversary under the patronage of Oman Oil Marketing company’s chairman

In support of social integration for individuals with special needs, Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil) joined hands with the Oman Association for the Disabled to celebrate the ‘Gulf Week of the Disabled’ and ‘Arab Deaf Week’ during the Association’s 15 year Anniversary. The event was held recently under the patronage of Sheikh Salim Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of omanoil.

As a prominent and responsible corporate citizen, the nation’s visionary fuels and lubricants marketing company donated a number of specially customized state-of -the-art wheel chairs during the Association’s Anniversary at Zakher Mall. A special plaque of recognition was given to omanoil’s Chairman to underscore the Company’s past and present efforts to support the physical capacity of individuals by improving quality of life and providing day-to-day necessities.

Over the years, omanoil has supported the Association to help provide fellow disabled citizens with a prosperous future while raising awareness on the importance of empowerment to achieve true societal integration. The Company’s long term strategy is to continue to back the functions of local organizations and charities across the Sultanate, as it plays a significant role in the social and economic development of the nation.
