omanoil receives OER Top 20 debate award by Minister of Commerce & Industry - 20th June 09

Eng. Omar Ahmed Qatan, CEO of Oman Oil Marketing Company (omanoil), recently received the Oman Economic Review (OER) Top 20 Debate Award by His Excellency Maqbool bin Ali Sultan, Minister of Commerce & Industry and His Highness Sayyid Tarik bin Shabib Al Said, Editor in Chief of Oman Economic Review at a ceremony held at Capital Market Authority (CMA). Attaining the eighth position, omanoil was recognized for its market strengths and positioning, achievements, history and heritage, brand values, as well as developments within the visionary organization.

OER in association with the CMA organized the first OER Top 20 Debate & Awards Ceremony on the state of the Sultanate’s Economy. The seminar observed the participation of a cross section of CEOs from various sectors that highlighted the challenges and opportunities facing their respective organizations. The deliberations of this unique event helped CEOs and senior executives to gain valuable insights into tackling the critical issues arising from the current global financial situation.
