encourages trainings to improve the efficiency,
productivity and profitability by making
know-how and skills available to employees which
enables them to improve their work performance.
It also ensures that new employees learn to deal
successfully with unfamiliar tasks which will
improve their skills and knowledge. For this we
provide the followings:-
Induction Program
All staff is given HR induction on the first day
of joining the organization to familiarize the
new joiner with the other company staff, basics,
working environment, rules and regulations,
company and employee rights, etc. In addition,
new joiners are put on a one week program that
covers sessions with all departmental heads in
the company to increase the awareness level and
assist in future interdepartmental processes and
systems.
On Job Training
All new joiners are provided with OJT (on the
job training) to ensure their full understanding
of the job requirements and help them performing
up to the expectations. Length of the training
differs from one to the other based on their
qualification background and previous
experience, and the training programme itself.
External Training
Staff’s need for training is addressed every
year during the appraisal discussion. Based on
their job competencies, training requirements
are defined and then addressed during the year
in order to close the gap. Training is done in
house, within the sultanate or abroad based on
the needs and availability. Minimum of 5 days
training per annum is a must be provided to each
employee.
Education Assistance
The Company supports the individuals’ plan of
enhancing their qualification background by
covering up to 75% of the total cost associated
with any long term study they select to go for.
