The basmaRewards program is the Sultanate’s first chip based multi-partner rewards program pioneered by omanoil and BankMuscat in association with Lulu Hypermarkets. The program helps shoppers ‘save as they spend’ while adding more benefits and privileges on a daily basis.

Additional partners and merchants continue to join the basmaRewards Program which includes car sales and service companies, jewelry stores, fashion outlets, electronic showrooms, restaurants, travel agents and hotels. The innovative rewards scheme allows cardholders to collect basmaPoints with every Omani Rial spent at any of the partner outlets.

Using the latest smart-chip technology, the basmaCard allows cardholders to instantly redeem points and make full or partial payments for any purchases from omanoil Filling Stations, Lulu Hypermarkets and department stores across the Sultanate.

The basmaCard can also be utilized as a pre-paid fuel card allowing customers to budget fuel expenditure whilst saving basmaPoints. Each card has a secure Personal Identification Number (PIN) to prevent unauthorized use in case it is lost or stolen.
