Based on the fact that most incidents are caused by unsafe behavior, omanoil focuses on people’s attitude and behavior, and encourages its employees to practice good HSE practice at work as well as at home.

Road safety
Our exposure to road accident is a major concern. We manage the risk with defensive driver training programme and active participation in Road Safety Leadership forums.

omanoil recognizes Road Safety is a major cause for concern due to increasing risks and hazards. Leadership forums and all employees participate actively and promote Road Safety awareness beyond work environment.

Environment
omanoil has been constantly improving design standards and practices to protect the environment. The major risk exposure of leakage and contamination due to corrosion has been minimized by changing over to fibre-glass tanks manufactured to international standards. We bring in best practices and continuously improve our standards from lessons learnt by networking within the industry.

omanoil promotes pro-active measures to protect the environment of Oman with initiatives such as FRP tanks for storage of petroleum products, net stocks reconciliation, environment monitoring and remediation programs.
