Oman Oil Marketing
Company (OOMCO), one of the leading Omani fuel
and lubricants marketing companies, hosted a
prize giving ceremony for the winners of the
Quick Shop promotion at their newly re-opened
Ghala Filling Station, which sustained damages
caused by cyclone Gonu. A total of eight prizes
were awarded during the ceremony which included
two grand prizes by OHI Marine, main sponsors of
the promotion.
Eng. Omar Ahmad Qatan, CEO of Oman Oil Marketing
Company, Dominic Myers, General Manager of
Matrah Cold Stores along with managers from
OOMCO, Matrah Cold Stores and Khimjis Mart were
present during the ceremony. Executives from OHI
Marine including General Manager Uday Naik, and
Marketing Manager, Niall Polley were also in
attendance.
The winner of the Grand Prize Yamaha Wave Runner
was Mohammed Suleiman Said who attended the
ceremony with his young son. “I am a regular
customer of omanoil filling stations and often
buy basic groceries from the Quick Shops on my
way home,” expressed Said. “Now I’m going home
with a Yamaha Wave Runner attached to my car!”
On the occasion, Hussain Jama Al Ishaqi General
Manager Retail at OOMCO said, “We are very
pleased to reward our customers with such
exciting prizes, thanks to our dedicated
sponsors. We also commend and appreciate the
efforts and commitments of our partners, Matrah
Cold Stores and Khimjis Mart who manage our
Quick Shops professionally and have convivial
staff to serve customers.”
The second grand prize of a Yamaha Outboard
Motor was awarded to Ajay Kumar who was amongst
the other three fortunate winners of a basmaCard
worth three hundred Omani Riyals and JVC Everio
Hard Disk Camcorder with marine case each.
Al Ishaqi added, “In the last few years, the
Quick Shop promotions have been a tremendous
success. We strive to continuously introduce
innovation in our programs that recognize our
appreciation of our loyal customers for their
continued patronage.”
