SAOG (OOMCO) Board of Directors appoints Deputy
Chairman and new audit committee members
Muscat, 3rd May 2005
At a recently concluded Board meeting Oman Oil
Marketing Company SAOG (OOMCO) appointed Mr.
Mulham Al Jarf as Deputy Chairman to the Board
of Directors.
Mr Mulham Al Jarf is, at present, Deputy CEO of
Oman Oil Company SAOG and replaces Mr. Ahmed bin
Salim Al Wahaibi, who opted to not seek
re-election to the OOMCO Board this term.
The Board had earlier approved the appointment
of 2 new members to the audit committee,
increasing the size from 3 to 4. The new audit
committee members are Sayyidah Rawan Ahmed
Al-Said and Abdul Kader Darwish Dosambeh Al
Balushi.
Sayyidah Rawan Ahmed Al-Said is Director
Research at the State General Reserve Fund
(SGRF) while Abdul Kader Darwish Dosambeh Al
Balushi works as Asst. General Manager – Credit
Admin and Remedial Credit with Bank Muscat.
Mr. Abdul Amir bin Saied Mohammed, a director
and member of the audit committee, had opted to
not seek re-election to the Board of OOMCO
resulting in a vacancy on the audit committee.
