Omanoil filling station at Bausher officially
inaugurated

His Excellency Ali Masoud Ali Al Sunaidy,
Minister of Sports Affairs, today officially
inaugurated omanoil's largest filling station to
date at Bausher, Muscat.
The Minister presided over an audience of
dignitaries and selected guests. Following
speeches by Oman Oil Marketing Company’s (OOMCO)
Managing Director, Mike Wilson and Sheik Salim
Al Rawas, Chairman, OOMCO , the filling station
was officially declared open.
Mike Wilson stated "The opening of five new
petrol stations over the last few months clearly
demonstrates omanoil's growth and our continuous
investment in Oman. In 2005, we will continue
our tireless efforts to deliver a convenient and
quality service to the Omani people."
The omanoil site, strategically located on the
main Sultan Qaboos highway offers customers a 24
hour service, along with a Quick Shop selling
convenience items, coffee and snacks. Also
offering ten petrol pumps, the spacious site
boasts the latest in drive-through car wash
technology equipped with omanoil's ‘1st to
market’ non-scratch brushes and supported by a
"money back customer satisfaction offer". There
is also a manual jet / chassis wash with
additional facilities coming next year.

Development Manager stated "As the first filling
station to be built on the highway in Muscat for
3 years and our largest site to date, Bausher is
proving to be a very popular location. With easy
links to both the highway and the brand new Lulu
Hypermarket we can only forsee a further
increase in the already substantial footfall. "
